Boston police arrested two men for installing signs promoting the Cartoon Network's Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Finally one of the "terrorists" gives an account of the incident that's not a bizarre press conference about 70s hair styles!
His arrest led to this surreal conversation with a Boston police officer.
"My daughter is a huge fan of you. She watches the show and knows all about what happened. She was so excited that I get to see you."
"So... did you really mean to blow up Boston?"
"I think I just growled with disbelief after that statement," remembers Zebbler, "and walked out to face the press staking out the holding cell in the bitterly cold morning."
His interrogator had given him nothing but carrots to eat, and while he promised that they'd return the confiscated "mooninite" signs, "It was a lie and I knew it as he was saying it."
In the ultimately irony, Zebbler points out that after all the commotion, the Cartoon Network movie that they were promoting turned out to be a huge box office flop.
"I attribute some of it to the executives freaking out and backing off from the promotional opportunity that this event gave them."
