Kelloggs created a special box of Frosted Flakes for an Obama campaign visit.

A funny thing happened when Barack Obama visited Battle Creek, Michigan. According to ABC News, he was greeted with a specially-marked box of Kellogg's Frosted Flakes.

They were presented to him by 46-year-old Mark Schauer, a Democratic state Senator who says that Kelloggs -- headquartered in Battle Creek -- had created the box for the candidate.

He told the crowd that "Barack Obama and Joe Biden's visit here today is the start of something big" -- and later waved the cereal box over his head.

On the package Tony the Tiger appears below a picture of Barack Obama and Joe Biden, offering his signature phrase.

"They're Grrreat!"

Forget Reverend Wright, numbers of houses, flag pins or Palin. THIS is the irrefutable reason to vote the Democratic ticket!

Actually, I think it would be funnier to show Obama and Bush sharing rail of coke while Tony the Tiger, with big bloodshot eyes and an amped up look on his face, was yelling "They're great, they're GREAT, THEY'RE ABSO-$#@*&-LUTELY GREAT!!! YEAAAAHHH!!"

Having Biden, McCain and Palin looking on from the background with concerned looks on their faces would be the icing on the cake.

There's nothing wrong with injecting a little gesture into the race, so long as it is tastefully done, unlike Lieberman with his "scared" and "ducking bullets" joke, regarding Obama, after hearing an alarming noise and bang behind stage, while Lieberman was on stage talking to an audience on live television. It's not as through additional boxes of Frosted Flakes with the candidates engraved on them are coming to our store shelves for purchase by consumers. Only two were produced.

Battle Creek, Michigan, home to Kellogg's cereal brand, hosted candidates Barack Obama and Joe Biden at a rally

and was the reason for the display.

Christian Areas,

You're right, "Too funny."

Ann, as long as you're for truth, you might want to mention that it was Huckabee, not Lieberman that made the joke.

Jay Keggerlord,

Ann, as long as you're for truth, you might want to mention that it was Huckabee, not Lieberman that made the joke.

I stand corrected and got the two--Lieberman and Huckabee--mixed up. But my point is jokes are all right so long as they aren't distasteful or maliciously said, regardless of who says it on either side of the camp. Thanks for the correction, because I do not wish to wrongly accuse anyone of anything they did not do.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I guess your opinion is as good as anyone else's is. I am glad you used the phrase "probably", which leads me to believe that you know with certainty that McCain is the biggest "FLAKE" to run for president and not "SO GREAT", which is the reason Obama- Biden appears on the cereal box and not McCain-Palin.
